Parking and traffic
Parking is free. No special parking permit is required. Accessible and "no parking" spaces are marked. There is no parking along roadways on campus.
Accessible parking spaces are located in Parking Lots 7, 8, 9, 14, 15 and 16 as well as in the parking area behind Cass Gymnasium, in front of the Workforce Careers Center, in front of Montgomery Hall and on the east side of Menard Hall. Accessible parking permits may be obtained by contacting the nearest Secretary of State’s office.
Please observe all applicable Illinois traffic and parking statutes and ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp regulations while on campus. The campus-wide speed limit is 20 mph. Visit the ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp Police Department webpage for more information on parking regulations.
There are many pedestrians on the ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp campus. Please stay alert and always drive carefully.
Electric vehicle charging stations
ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp has two fee-based electric vehicle charging stations located on the Springfield campus in Lot 9, east of the Millennium Center. A maximum of four vehicles can be charged at one time.
Bus service
Springfield Mass Transit District (SMTD) provides bus service to the ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp campus. For current bus schedule information, including updated route times and dates of closure visit , or call 217-522-5531.
There are two SMTD bus stops on campus. The first is located in front of the Workforce Careers Center. The second is located in the circle drive in front of Menard/Sangamon Halls.
Bus passes are available in the ÌÀÍ·Ìõapp Bookstore in the lower level of Menard Hall. For more information, call 217-786-2300.
